President Obama’s Horoscope

US President Barack Hussain Obama was born at 7.24 pm on 4^th August 1961. He was born in Honolulu in the American state of Hawaii in the Rishaba (Taurus) rasi, Makara (Capricorn) lagna, Rohini nakshatram. Guru (Jupiter) and Sani (Saturn) have come together in Makara lagna to confer on him Vasundhara yogam. Ketu is in the Dhana-Kutumba sthanam (Family & Finance place), Chandra (Moon) is in the Fifth house, Sukra (Venus) in the Sixth, while the Surya-Bhudha (Sun&Mercury) combination, in the Seventh house, has created the Bhudha adhityaya yogam. This is responsible for the president’s excellent academic/educational record.

Marriage

Venus lords of Fifth and Tenth house planet is located in the Sixth house. He married Michelle Robinson on Third October 1992 during Rahu dasa Sukra bhudhi. He became the father of two girls, as the Fifth house, the purva punya-puthra sthanam, the domain of Sukra (Venus), is occupied by Chandra (Moon).

A life of struggle

Sevvai, Mars, and Rahu are in the Eighth house. Since Mars, the Sukadhipathi, the Lord of Comfort, is in the Eighth house with Rahu, Mr Obama went through a lot of struggle in his younger days. The Fourth house is the one which indicates the position of the mother. As Mars, who lords over the domain of the mother, joined hands with Rahu in the Eighth house, he lost his mother in 1995, during the Rahu dasa Sevvai (Mars) bhudhi.

Jupiter-Saturn made him a teacher

The combination of Guru (Jupiter) and Sani (Saturn) generally indicates an affiliation with religion, either as a religious preacher or as an educationist. This was what made him teach in the University of Chicago. He was also closely associated with his church. Both these things were possible only because of the Guru-Sani (Jupiter-Saturn) combination.

His rise to the top

In general, Guru (Venus) is weak/debilitated in the Makara lagna. Since Sani, the Lord of this house, is presiding over the lagna, Mr. Obama became the recipient of the Neecha banga rajayogam. This yogam has the power/the capacity to catapult to the summit of the mountain a person rotting in the depths of the pit. Mr. Obama captured the White House, thanks to this rajayogam and his ability to sway people with his powerful oratory. This happened during Guru dasa Chandra bhudhi.

He became president in 2008 as the candidate of the Democratic Party. He became the most powerful person in the world because of Gajakesari yogam caused by Guru’s aspect of Chandra.

The future

Mr. Obama was re-elected president on Sixth November 2011. This happened at the beginning of the Sani (Saturn dasa Sani (Saturn bhudhi.

It is an accepted fact in astrology that at the beginning of a dasa, when that dasa—in this case, Sani—is the cause of one’s achievements, the period that follows it will be an extremely trying one.

The Sani (Saturn) dasa Sani bhudhi occurs on 30^th July 2015. So, it will be a testing period until then. Still, there is not much to worry, for he belongs to the Rishaba (Taurus) rasi, and also because Sani (Saturn) is now in the Sixth house with Rahu.

However, he should be extremely cautious when Sani (Saturn) moves into the Seventh house in November 2014. It was Sani (Saturn) which made him—a person of mixed race—sweet-talk his way to success in a country that is predominantly white.

When Sani (Saturn) is in the Lagna and aspects the Tenth house, or, if Sani (Saturn) is in the Tenth house, you can be sure that the person will always be surrounded by a crowd; popular, in other words.

Sun aspects Saturn in Mr. Obama’s horoscope. This means that the Lord of the Eighth house aspects the lagna. The message, therefore, is that, in the coming days and months, the President should deliberate his every move carefully, exercise patience and avoid haste.

The undeniable fact is that the President has travelled this far in life because of Guru’s (Jupiter) aspect and also due to Chandra’s (Moon) presence in the purva punya sthanam, the domain of one’s accumulated merits in a previous life.
