On 27th November 2014, Mangal, Mars, makes the transit from Dhanush rasi to Makara rasi. Mars becomes ascendant in Makara. Also, Guru, Jupiter, who is ascendant in Kataka, aspects Mars. The mutual aspect of Mars and Jupiter is not good. The reason: One ascendant planet should not aspect another ascendant planet. (According to an astrological rule, one ascendant should not aspect another ascendant). On 27th November 2014, Mars transits to Sani, Saturn’s house, Makara/Kumbha, and remains there till 12th February 2015. During this period, some areas of the world could experience big earthquakes, tsunami and floods. Heavy damage to property is possible. There could be many interesting twists in the political arena. This period is a testing period for political leaders. We should pray to Lord Muruga/Karthikeya to ensure that Mars in Saturn’s house does not inflict sufferings and calamities.
