Debilitated Sani in Virgo: Benefits and pitfalls | Astrology Article

Sani, Saturn, is a graha who has the power to put us on an unassailable path of prosperity. Much the same way, should he pull us down from our pedestal, no force on earth can stop our downward spiral.

Sani will be moving from the Tula (Libra) rasi to Kanni (Virgo) in the period 16^th May 2012 to Fourth July 2012. Since he is moving in the reverse direction, he will be in a debilitated state. We will now explore whether this move will result in fortunes or misfortunes for us.

Those born in the Mesha (Aries), Kadaga (Cancer), and Vruschika (Scorpio) rasis would find this period propitious, as the debilitated Sani showers bounties on them. Obstacles in their path would be removed, their wildest dreams fulfilled and all that they touch would turn into gold. The reason: Guru enters Rishaba (Taurus) rasi on 17^th May 2012. This, in other words, is Guru Peyarchi, as Guru moves from Mesha, Aries, to Rishaba, Taurus. Since Guru will be aspecting Kanni, Virgo, during this phase, it signifies a golden period for those born in the Mesha, Kadaga and Vruschika rasis. They can rightly hope to achieve all that they desire.

Let us now look at the other side of the coin. Those born in the Mithuna (Gemini), Kanni (Virgo), Tula (Libra), Kumbha (Aquarius) and Meena (Pisces) rasis had better be aware of the pitfalls that await them during this period. The redeeming factor, however, is that these pitfalls will be minor in nature. The reason: Guru is aspecting these rasis.

Informed readers might ask whether a debilitated Sani would treat those born in the Simha (Leo) rasi, like the Seven-and-a-half years Saturn from 16^th May 2012 to 4^th July 2012.
