Parents are constantly beseiged by the desire that their children should progress well in education and get super jobs.

Will these dreams fructify?

If the dreams of the parents are to fructify, the Fourth and Ninth Houses should be powerful in one’s horoscope. Otherwise, the child will not show any great interest in education, even if his/her father were an educationist. The Fourth house stands for such things as education, vehicle, one’s mother, etc. Much the same way, the Ninth house stands for such much-sought after things like wealth, besides the child’s character, progress in education, etc. Good advancement in education is assured, if these two houses are powerful, and if the lagna Planet and the Fifth house native are aspecting these houses.

A person’s educational progress will not be smooth, if Saturn, Rahu or Ketu are inhabiting the Fourth house, and if there is no benign aspect on this house. Such kids have to be pushed and prodded into studying. On the other hand, good progress in higher education is assured, if, for instance, a person born in Pisces lagna, has Chandra, the native of the fifth house, aspecting the ninth Scorpio.

Similarly, higher studies are indicated, for a person born in the Simha lagna, in whose horoscope, Mars, the native of the Fourth house, is in the Ninth house, with Guru aspecting it. Correspondingly, it should be pointed out that progress in education will suffer if the Ninth, Twelfth and Eighth house natives are in the Fourth house.

In conclusion, it can be boldly stated that if the Fourth and Ninth houses are powerful, parents can rest assured that they have nothing to fear about their child’s education. The child will go for higher studies and prosper in life.
